Every Único shoe can easily be resoled several times

We have been running our special Único shoe concept for over 5 years. Recently we have received an increasing number of Único shoes back whose owners wanted a new sole. 

There was really everything here, from the completely rocked-out and torn Único to the very well-groomed, well-worn Único. We refloated and significantly upgraded each one. Many received a completely new sole, and some even received a completely new sole structure. Often the upper shoes in particular, i.e. the shaft, are still in good condition and can be worn for many years without any problems. That's why we have decided to offer the Único new sole as a permanent accessory item. As a rule, not only the undersole is replaced, but also the fine balling with the Poron XRD or cork (depending on the model), which is also replaced during this process. After resoling the shoes usually look like new again and can be worn for many years to come ;-). 

Even after the first soling, we are in the same price range as other cheaper barefoot shoe manufacturers. After the second soling we are even cheaper. All too often, manufacturers do not even offer soling, let alone carry it out. This inevitably leads to frequent repurchases and saves neither resources nor your wallet. 

Useful information regarding your choice: If your Único barefoot shoes are well cared for, need resoling for the first time, and only the sole is already very thin or will soon develop a hole, then you can choose the standard resoling option depending on the sole type. With this option, the old outsole is removed, the Único barefoot shoes are re-balled, and a completely new outsole is applied. However, if your Único barefoot shoes are more than three years old, perhaps already need resoling for the second or third time, and the rubber welt is already very brittle and has slight cracks, then choose the resoling option with a completely new welt. With this option, everything is removed, the shoes are cleaned and, depending on the model, waxed, the used Único shoe upper is completely re-strobed, the rubber welt is reset, the re-balling is done, the outsole is re-attached, and finally the insole is completely replaced.

Important information: In rare individual cases it may happen that the type of sole ordered cannot be met within the budget with our standard price, as the signs of wear often vary greatly. In this case, we would contact you again after the assessment.
