FROM RAW MATERIAL TO MANUFACTURED PRODUCT
On 2 manufacturing days of a total of 11 hours, you will make your own custom-made pair of “Alpini” mountain sandals under individual instruction from our shoe specialist Armin. This hiking sandal is particularly complex to manufacture, includes several sewing steps, a two-layer bonding for the sole, and a complex cutting and bonding process for the side flaps.
Special challenge: Double bonding, sophisticated system buckle assembly and complex sewing steps.
Unique quality: The vegetable-tanned Black Forest leather used in the sandals, from small organic farms in the region, or the vegan anti-slip synthetic leather which is manufactured in Munich according to ÖKO-TEX 100, fits and adheres perfectly to your feet.
Of course, production in a real factory includes many individual steps and where we have to deal with machines, dust, adhesives and noise, among other things. We have provided the appropriate protective equipment. If you have any questions or concerns in advance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
