FAST AND EFFECTIVE WEATHER PROTECTION - whether it's rain, wind, cold, mud or snow - your feet stay warm and dry. Warm, windproof, water-repellent, breathable and, because many of you have asked for it, now also 100% waterproof, thanks to the highly functional OnTex® Lycra fleece membrane or the even more robust, high-quality 4-layer laminate from Japan as the outer material. We seal every seam precisely with waterproof tapes, similar to shell clothing. The OverShoe 2.0 is the ideal product for anyone who wants to keep wearing their beloved comfortable (barefoot) shoes in winter. They fit over almost any shoe - whether trainers, sneakers, low shoes, ankle boots, with and without heels, they fit particularly well with barefoot shoes with a wide toe box and wider cuts - even toe shoes. The combination is of course perfect with our Único shoe. UNIQUE QUALITY - Almost everyone has a good rain jacket, but why don't we all have a high-quality, sustainable rain jacket for our shoes? We have been offering our OverShoe since 2021 and are of course constantly developing it further. It is truly unique on the market in terms of quality, fit and design. The OverShoe 2.0 is now available in 3 model variants. You can choose between water-repellent and breathable, or the new 100% waterproof hydrophobic OnTex® Lycra fleece membrane upper material, up to the extremely robust 4-layer laminate, also waterproof with a very high water column of 25,000mm. Our major OverShoe 2.0 product update in 2024 includes an even more robust Tecno 4.0 sole carrier material, a heel reinforcement, the more stable and extra wide weld seam tape made exclusively for us with new branding. The OverShoe 2.0 comes in the usual high quality – packaged in high-quality Chala kraft paper, which provides optimal protection during transport, especially since many of our products have a wax finish.

Three Models, Four Sole Types, and Two Widths
Since we offer almost all of our barefoot shoes in various widths and shapes, the OverShoe 2.0 is now available in two distinct fits: "Regular" and "Extra Wide." This ensures a perfect fit over all our Único models, as well as other extra-wide barefoot shoes. You can choose from three specialized versions, each available as either water-resistant or fully waterproof. Variant 1 – The OverShoe Light 2.0 is our lightweight entry-level model. It features an open-bottom design and is perfectly suited for everyday activities such as cycling, the commute to school or work, or walking the dog in rain and snow. You might wonder how an open-bottom overshoe can provide excellent weather protection. The secret lies in the superior seal created by a high-quality elastic drawstring with a clever Fixlock adjustment at the heel, which pulls the overshoe snugly against the edge of your sole. An additional arch system strap reinforces this effect, keeping water, dirt, and wind at bay. Since shoes experience almost no contact or wear in the arch area, the strap is naturally protected. All other areas that touch the ground are reinforced with robust, rubberized TPU at the toe cap and arch. Should the strap ever wear out after intensive use, it can be easily replaced as an affordable spare part. Variant 2 – The OverShoe Pro 2.0 is a closed, soled overshoe designed for full weather protection. The high-tech fabric is woven so densely that even strong winds cannot penetrate. In the waterproof version, the integrated OnTex® membrane guarantees long-term protection—even under pressure during hours of walking through heavy rain, mud, or snow. The fully closed sole provides additional insulation against the cold. What makes this version unique is the ability to customize your Pro 2.0 with four different sole types, which we professionally bond to the ball and toe areas. These soles have been a staple of our proven sandal models for years and are designed to meet the highest performance standards. Variant 3 – The OverShoe Shell 2.0 is the ultimate choice for extreme conditions. For this model, we use a premium 4-layer laminate from Japan (260g/sqm). Unlike conventional 3-layer materials, this laminate features an additional coating on the PU membrane, situated between robust 70D nylon on the outside and stable 20D nylon on the inside. The result is an extremely durable fabric with a massive water column of 25,000 mm. Despite its incredible toughness, the laminate remains breathable, while the fourth layer provides significantly higher abrasion resistance than standard laminates.
Warm, stylish ankle warmer made from wool
Our fine sock cuff ankle warmer is not only warm, but also attractive. It can be pulled over or under any pair of trousers to form a kind of gaiter that warms the ankle and calf. It is made from a merino wool blend and is therefore naturally water-repellent, keeping dirt out and allowing water to roll off naturally. The special thing about wool: it keeps you warm even when damp or wet and does not absorb odours.
From Vibram® to HEXAGRIP: Superior Sole Technology and "Made in Germany" Quality
We now offer four different types of soles, each color-coordinated to match your selection perfectly. Our time-tested Vibram® Newflex serves as the ideal starting point. As a true all-rounder, this 5 mm thick sole is the perfect choice for everyday use and more than meets most requirements. For those seeking more traction off-road or on very slippery surfaces, the extraordinary Vibram® MEGAGRIP is the way to go. This 5.2 mm compact rubber sole offers outstanding grip and extreme durability under constant use. Its widely spaced zigzag profile also ensures a particularly intense barefoot feel. Offering similar performance but with a regional bonus is the innovative HEXAGRIP by OK Gummiwerke. Entirely made in Germany, it is slightly more direct at 4.6 mm and gains extra points for its resistance to fire, acid, gasoline, and oil. For extreme winter conditions, we have a true high-tech solution in our range: the Vibram® Arctic-Grip. At 5.3 mm thick, it provides a level of slip resistance on ice and snow that you have to experience to believe. We had the chance to test it ourselves on a massive block of ice at a trade fair and were absolutely blown away—it is almost unbelievable that you can actually run on sheer ice without losing your footing. While this sole comes at a higher price point, it is worth every penny for winter enthusiasts. No matter which variant you choose: all our soles are specifically tailored to different needs, ensuring you get exactly the grip you require.
Crafted with Care – As Regional as Possible
100% Made in Freiburg: Like all our products, the OverShoe 2.0 is handcrafted with great passion in our Freiburg manufactory. It is a truly sophisticated, handmade product combined with high-tech materials. To ensure our specialized welded seams are processed to perfection, we even invested in two new specialized machines back in 2021. Where do our raw materials come from? Transparency is essential to us. The tape, sewing thread, wool shaft, YKK zippers, and sole adhesive are sourced directly from Germany. The high-quality Lycra fleece (available with or without a membrane) is manufactured exclusively for us in Spain. For our soles, we rely on the expertise of Vibram® from Italy and HEXAGRIP soles from Germany. For your peace of mind: Every one of our suppliers meets the strict criteria of the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
